Fine Crystal Ion Strong® “Fine Crystal” is a completely new lead-free crystal glass which has been developed by Toyo-Sasaki Glass. It is equipped with a number of unique functions. “Fine Crystal” can change itself by being enhanced by the “ION STRONG” treatment to become far superior glass in durability and scratch-resistance. The Excellent Functions of “FINE CRYSTAL ION STRONG” Dishwasher Resistant both at Household and at Institution No lead is contained in the material. The glass is highly resistant against alkaline washing agents. Our test shows that the use of 4500 cycles with the dishwasher for institutional use changes no appearance.  Toughened Crystal Glass – Tougher and more elegant, cost effective The strength improved by about 1.5 times * by processing the unique chemical toughening called “ION STRONG” to “FINE CRYSTAL” keeping its brightness and brilliance unique to the conventional crystal glass, and the excellent durability has been achieved, (*byToyo-Sasaki test) The thin wall stemware will be used without concern about chipping by reinforcing the entire surface of glass chemically.  Planet Friendly (No Hazardous Materials Included) “No hazardous materials included” mean that neither lead no barium is included. In Accordance with EU Crystal Definitions Development priority is placed on satisfying requirements of EU Definitions. The acoustic characteristic and the brightness are equal to those of our existing crystal or semi-crystal.
