Donabe has been traditionally used in Japan especially during the wintertime. The donabe’s earthenware vessel retains heat even after it is removed from the stove, and continues to keep food hot. Korin offers these wonderfully affordable donabes, just in time for the cold holiday season for you and your family to share a communal hot pot.
Caution
- Do not heat the pot while empty.
- Do not deep fry
- Avoid using a hard brush to clean. We recommend using a tawashi brush.
- Gas stove is recommended to heat the donabe evenly.
- Please properly dry the outside of the pot before setting on the stove to avoid damage.
