| Full-time / Part-time salesperson needed for busy, high volume retail showroom. Excellent, fluent verbal/written english required, Japanese and/or Chinese language skills preferred. Successful candidate will handle customer care and sales of Japanese chef knives, kitchen equipment, and tableware. Successful candidates will be energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing with minimum one (1) year experience in retail sales.

Excellent organizational skills, high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment as well as proficiency in MS Office required, working knowledge of NetSuite software preferred. | Sales representative to new and existing hotel, restaurant, and retail accounts. Minimum three (3) years experience in high volume outside sales to hospitality industry required. Must be a self-starter with market knowledge and proficiency in analyzing/researching trends, prospecting new clients, lead/customer development, strong presentation and negotiating skills, and a proven track record in closing sales. | Position: | Marketing Design Intern |
| Busy High-end Downtown Retail Location (and e-commerce site) is looking for a Marketing Design Intern. You must be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop as well as all Microsoft Office Applications. Main responsibilities include creating visual assets for monthly promotions. Interest in food, restaurants, hospitality industry and understanding of Japanese language and culture are preferred. Primarily we are looking for a strong designer with good aesthetic sense. Must be a fast learner, who is self-motivated and willing to take on a variety of tasks. Flexibility, being detail oriented and able to multi-task are essential.
All candidates should be currently enrolled in a college/university (or be a recent graduate) in an Art/Design/Studio Art program, and must bring their own laptop each day. All internships are part-time and unpaid. | Analyze, evaluate and study new and existing sales market, especially Japanese group, to increase company sales. Plan, design and conducts research on market conditions. Analyze the gathered information and conduct statistical analysis to generate reports for management.
Interest in food, restaurants, hospitality industry and understanding of Japanese language and culture are preferred. Must be a fast learner, who is self-motivated and willing to take on a variety of tasks beyond what is listed here. Flexibility, being extremely detail oriented and able to multi-task are essential. Must have a writing skills, and fluency in Japanese Language skills is preferred. Must have Business Administration or Marketing background.

| Position: | Public Relations Specialist |
| Duties will include, but are not limited to the following: Respond to media requests. Arrange promotional campaigns in all types of media to promote Japanese products to the US market. Arrange public appearances, lectures or exhibits to increase Korin’s products awareness to the market. Must have history of working with internal departments to identify trends so proper products are brought in from Japan.
Interest in food, restaurants, and the hospitality industry are preferred. Fluency in the Japanese language is preferred, but candidate without an understanding of Japanese culture will not be considered. Must be a fast learner, who is self-motivated and willing to take on a variety of tasks beyond what is listed here. Flexibility with the ability of being extremely detail oriented and able to multi-task are essential. Must be well spoken with high writing skills and overall English skills. Must have a degree in Communications or Public relations or English or related discipline.

| Duties will include, but are not limited to the following: Search for new products based on current market trends. Negotiate pricing with vendors. Review contracts with suppliers to make sure everything is in compliance. Inventory control and management. Attend trade shows and conferences.
Interest in food, restaurants, and the hospitality industry are preferred. Must be a fast learner, who is self-motivated and willing to take on a variety of tasks beyond what is listed here. Flexibility with the ability of being extremely detail oriented and able to multi-task are essential. Fluent Japanese Language skills is a MUST. Attention to details. Must have a Marketing, Business Administration, Asian Studies or related study background. Good verbal and writing skills.
