Showroom Sales Associate |

Full-time / Part-time salesperson needed for busy, high volume retail showroom. Excellent, fluent verbal/written english required, Japanese and/or Chinese language skills a plus. Successful candidate will handle customer care and sales of Japanese chef knives, kitchen equipment, and tableware. Successful candidates will be energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing with minimum one (1) year experience in retail sales.

Customer Service Representative |

Customer service / phone sales. Excellent, fluent verbal/written english required, Japanese and/or Chinese language skills a plus. Successful candidate will handle customer care and incoming phone sales of Japanese knives, kitchen equipment, and tableware. Excellent organizational skills, high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment as well as proficiency in MS Office required, working knowledge of NetSuite software preferred. Minimum one (1) year customer service/phone sales experience preferred.

| Position: |
Field Sales Representative |

Sales representative to new and existing hotel, restaurant, and retail accounts. Minimum three (3) years experience in high volume outside sales to hospitality industry required. Must be a self-starter with market knowledge and proficiency in analyzing/researching trends, prospecting new clients, lead/customer development, strong presentation and negotiating skills, and a proven track record in closing sales. Excellent, fluent verbal and written english required, Japanese and/or Chinese language skills a plus. Understanding of Japanese and American cultures preferred.

| Position: |
Buyer |
|
Immediate and exciting opportunity for an experienced Buyer to develop and source Japanese knives, kitchen equipment, and tableware product lines for high volume retail/wholesale operation. This position will have ownership for setting the business and managing processes to achieve sales and margin objectives. As a Buyer, you will utilize a working knowledge of the buying function including merchandise selection, negotiation, pricing, planning, and marketing.
Job Experience:
Minimum three (3) years tabletop, kitchenwares, or gift buying experience. Understanding of merchandising financials including retail math and the ability to manage profitability. Successful experience in buying in multi brand,multi vendor environment. Strong understanding of import/export market and laws governing import transactions. Proficiency in MS Office required, experience with NetSuite preferred.
